The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was present today at the condolence ceremony organized by the family of Ilir Meta, following the passing of the former president's father.

Berisha was welcomed by the Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, before entering the environment where tributes and condolences are being held.

Meanwhile, Ilir Meta has been authorized by SPAK to temporarily leave the detention facilities during the last two days to attend his father's funeral ceremony and to receive condolences from family, friends and associates.
