Pëllumb Gjoka speaks about the accusations in the "Metamorphosis" file: They held a public trial for me, I have no connection to the murder of Gjin Ndoji

Pëllumb Gjoka speaks about the accusations in the "Metamorphosis"

In the court session held today in the context of the "Metamorphosis" file, one of the most sensational investigated by communications on the encrypted Sky ECC application, the defendant Pëllumb Gjoka, one of the seven defendants in this case, testified for the first time in court.

According to the testimony, Gjoka has categorically denied his involvement in the murder of Gjin Ndoji, stating that unfounded accusations have been made against him.

"As you know, I am accused of the murder of Gjin Ndoji... Anyone who has spoken even once about murder has committed a criminal act. But the filing of this charge against me is more criminal," he said in the courtroom.

Gjoka has also stressed that he feels "de facto condemned" due to, according to him, a public trial that took place in the media and public opinion, before the court's decision was given.

"Public trials are not about uncovering the truth, but about putting pressure on judges," he added, claiming that the case was influenced by vested interests and exchanges of favors.

Gjoka has said that he has been in detention for three years and that he still does not fully understand the reason for the charges against him.
