A police operation in Lozhan, Maliq, was accompanied by gunfire, resulting in the death of one member of the Eagle Forces and the injury of another.

It is learned that the operation was organized to capture Viloand Braçellari, a highly dangerous former soldier.

Following reports that the wanted man was hiding in the area, Korça Police agents headed towards Podena to arrest him. During the intervention, the suspect opened fire on police forces, killing one Eagles officer and wounding another.

Braçellari had been wanted for years. He also had a court decision for drug-related matters.

According to information, Braçellari is suspected of having lived for years in the forests of Podena, where he had built a large hut and kept several dogs. The day before, the police had received information that he was hiding in this deep mountainous area.
