Investigations continue into the serious incident in Maliq, where police officer Enea Mekolli lost his life and his colleague Edison Adri was injured.

Sources indicate that the mother of the suspected perpetrator, Violand Braçellari, has been escorted to the premises of the Korça Local Police Directorate, where she is being questioned by the investigative team.

Meanwhile, the injured officer has undergone surgery on his jaw and is in a stable condition, while Braçellari continues to receive medical treatment at the Trauma Hospital, out of danger to his life.
