MP and leader of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, accused Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku from the Parliament podium of owning two villas obtained through a scheme with private firms.

Addressing the Socialist MPs, Bardhi declared that they have become a "red card" to protect corruption and hide the assets of high-ranking officials. He claimed that it is not about one, but two villas, while calling on SPAK to continue the investigations and fully clarify the matter.

"You were given a red card for defending Belinda Balluku's corruption. You defended this villa that I am showing you in the photo. A villa that Belinda Balluku acquired through a company. You do well to lower your head and I am telling you that it is not one villa, but two villas. I encourage SPAK to continue the investigations. You must apologize to Albanians and to those who fight against corruption ," said Bardhi.
