A physical altercation at knifepoint occurred in the early hours of this morning in the capital, where the protagonists were a citizen and a Traffic Police officer.
It is reported that the situation quickly escalated into violence, with the person in question and the police officer holding hands and hitting each other in the middle of the street.
The perpetrator of this attack has been identified as citizen Dorjan Kasa, who is already behind bars.
The incident occurred in one of the busiest areas of Tirana, near a shopping mall, where the traffic police officer was positioned on the white lines and was guiding the numerous passersby and pedestrians to cross the road safely.
