Protester suffering from cancer explodes: Oncology, Auschwitz in the middle of

One of the strongest moments of the 7th protest taking place in Tirana against the Rama government came from the speech of a citizen, who is also a patient who has been battling cancer for three years.

In front of the gathered protesters, he delivered a harsh speech, linking the state of the healthcare system to what he described as years of negligence and corruption.

"I am a citizen who has been suffering from cancer for 3 years. I will defeat this disease," he said initially, amid applause from the crowd. "Not more than 3 km from here is a crematorium where 20 thousand people have died. Is it an Auschwitz? It is the shame of this building, of this country, of 35 years!", said the citizen.

He described the Oncology Department as a place where "people die and are buried every day," emphasizing that his message is a call for public reaction.

"This is my message, people. The second message, sons of mothers, may you live long in this cause. God wants us to gather more and more every day, because here there is only theft, robbery and meanness. This filthy building is to blame for this, people, this building must be demolished! Even the soil beneath it must be removed ," he said.
