Rama's former deputy minister: He destroyed the country by holding

Taulant Muka, researcher and former deputy minister of Rama, joined the protest that has been taking place for a week in Tirana, in front of the Prime Minister's Office today.

Muka said that Rama is destroying the country by holding education hostage, while emphasizing that today Albania counts 1.1 billion people who have fled abroad.

The researcher called on young people to continue the protests and not to retreat.

"They are destroying this country more and more by holding education hostage. Did you know that in 1300, Durrës had a university. Yes, yes, in the 1300s! We are not a people who build walls, we have been a people who have built universities, we have built knowledge, and they have destroyed our education, and they have taken away our knowledge.

The time has come for schools and universities to elect an intellectual team that responds to the development of science. Do you know, because the prime minister and this government say that with 4 billion dollars we will develop investments. There are 1.1 million Albanians who have left in the last 10 years. Their education alone costs over 15 billion in economic damage, beyond the souls of those who suffer in emigration!

I want to ask all of you here a question. If you have a sister, a brother, a friend, a companion, who has left you in the last 5 years, please raise your hands! This is the product of these 36 years of this government. It is the departure of young people, the departure of the potential for the development of society, the departure of the future! And this is what we need to change. Generation Z is very present here. And Generation Z can raise their hands!", said Muka.
