The ongoing protests in Tirana have attracted the attention of international media, while one of the most significant images of the civic gatherings has been selected by the prestigious British newspaper The Guardian in its "Photo of the Day" section.

It is a photograph taken by photographer Vlasov Sulaj, showing thousands of citizens gathered on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, during one of the protests held against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The British media has singled out the image among the most important events of the day in the world, drawing attention to the high participation of citizens in the protests that have been taking place in the Albanian capital for days.
