15-year-old drowned in swimming pool, owner, husband of Gjirokastër deputy

The owner of the "GLOW" swimming pool, Ermal Koko, has been arrested by the Gjirokastra Police after the tragic incident in which a 15-year-old lost his life while staying in the swimming pool.

According to preliminary data, Koko was detained in flagrante delicto by the Judicial Police officer of the Gjirokastra Police Commissariat, and he is charged with "Violation of safety and protection rules at work", as provided for in Article 289 of the Criminal Code.

The investigative actions were carried out in the presence of the prosecutor, Blerina Musabelli, who is following the procedures to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.

The serious incident occurred this morning, around 10:00, when 15-year-old Arbër Peçi lost his life in the swimming pool, shocking the local community and immediately putting the authorities in motion.
