A 22-year-old man internationally wanted by Spain for attempted murder has been arrested in Shëngjin, with the aim of extradition.
Citizen Orgito Paloka, 22 years old, born in Lezha, is accused of the criminal offense of "attempted murder".
"Based on information exchanged in real time with Spanish partners, through the ENFAST network, the codenamed "Fast" operation was organized and finalized, as a result of which the citizen was captured in Shëngjin and arrested with the aim of extradition to Spain:
-OP, 22 years old, born in Lezha.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Madrid, after the Juzgado Instruccion 2 Court of Ibiza, Spain, on 18.05.2026, issued an arrest warrant for him, for the criminal offense of "Murder", remaining in the attempted stage.
"Procedures for the extradition of citizen OP to Spain are ongoing," the announcement states.
