The leader of the Christian Democratic Party, Nard Ndoka, has made a strong statement as he announced that the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has had his "non grata" status lifted.

"I just received the news. Sali Berisha's 'non grata' status was lifted. This is good news for the opposition as a whole and for our liberation ," said Ndoka, invited to A2 CNN.

According to him, this development is expected to have a direct impact on the political life of the opposition and its relationship with the civic movements taking place in the country.

"The opposition is now freed from that not insignificant obstacle and the relationship it will have with this civic protest will change," declared the PDK leader.

So far, there has been no official confirmation regarding Ndoka's claim to lift the "non grata" status against Sali Berisha.
