The Israeli military has announced that missiles were recently launched from Iran towards Israel.
"Defense systems have been activated to disrupt the threat," the Israel Defense Forces spokesman said, and then a second wave of attacks was announced.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, upon the news of the Iranian missile launch towards Israel, posted an image on the X platform showing the flags of Iran and Lebanon united. This was interpreted as a sign of Tehran's solidarity with Beirut in the face of Israeli attacks.
