Accident on the Saranda-Delvina axis, 16-year-old loses control of the vehicle

A road accident was recorded this Saturday on the Saranda-Delvinë axis, near the village of Karahazh, where a 16-year-old was injured after the vehicle he was driving went off the road.

According to preliminary information, the minor, identified as D. Cauli, was driving a "Golf" type vehicle when, for reasons still unclear, he lost control of the vehicle, which ended up in a roadside ditch.

The 16-year-old was transported to Saranda Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a fracture in one leg and other minor injuries. Due to his condition, it is expected that he will be sent for specialized treatment in Tirana.

In his preliminary testimony, the young man stated that he suspects that his vehicle may have been hit by another vehicle shortly before the accident, but he has no clear memory of the moment of the event.
