A Border Police operation at the Port of Durres has led to the seizure of approximately 50 thousand euros in undeclared cash, found during checks at the entrance to the second line of heavy vehicles.
According to the official announcement, during checks carried out on a bizarre-type vehicle, authorities found a bag of cash in various denominations, which had not been declared in accordance with the legal obligations in force.
After the case was identified, the monetary amount, the driver of the vehicle and the vehicle itself were blocked, while the procedural materials were referred to the investigative structures at the Durrës Local Directorate for Border and Migration for further action.
