Prime Minister Edi Rama has faced a strong climate of citizen protests, which have been taking place for eight days both in Albania and in the diaspora, with demands for the government's resignation.
Meanwhile, today, Rama was present in Elbasan, where he participated in a meeting with the administration and leaders of the Socialist Party of this region, as part of the 35th anniversary of this political force.
During his speech at the event, Rama also referred to the protests and criticism of the government, taking an ironic stance at several moments of the speech.
The video shared from the event has been widely circulated on social media.
