A symbolic moment accompanied the march of protesters on the streets of Tirana this evening.

Citizens are sitting cross-legged on the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, briefly stopping the movement of the protest column and conveying their message against the government.

Under continuous chants of "The people decide," protesters raised green cards in the air, in a symbolic gesture that, according to them, represented a "vote" for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The action took place during a march in the center of the capital, where thousands of citizens have been continuing their peaceful protest for hours. Participants have repeated their demands for political change, while emphasizing that decision-making must be returned to the citizens.

Today's protest marks the tenth consecutive day of civic mobilization, which began as opposition to the planned project in Zvërnec, but has now transformed into a broader movement against the government and its policies.
