Spectacular drone footage: A "sea" of people invades the boulevard,

Aerial footage broadcast this evening has revealed the vast scale of the civic protest in Tirana, where hundreds of thousands of Albanians have gathered on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard and surrounding streets, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Drone footage shows a river of people stretching along the capital's boulevards and main streets, as the protestors' march continues for hours under the chants "Edi Rama resigns", "Down with communism", "Your end has come", "The homeland is not for sale" and "Join us".

Amidst the red and black flags, banners and national symbols, thousands of young people, families and the elderly have joined the protest, which has entered its 11th day. Aerial views reflect not only the large number of participants, but also the extent of the march on some of Tirana's main axes.

Protesters say their revolt is related to dissatisfaction with governance, corruption, the mass exodus of young people, the cost of living, the state of education and healthcare, as well as opposition to the controversial project in Zvërnec.

According to organizers, the protest has brought together Albanians from all regions and the diaspora, turning the gathering into a civic manifestation of national proportions. Drone footage shows one of the largest participations recorded so far in this wave of protests, as the crowd continues to march through the streets of the capital with the same enthusiasm and determination.
