The irony of the former socialist minister: Only Zegjinja has intellectual and

Former Socialist Minister Arben Malaj has expressed support for Petro Koçi and former contributors to the Socialist Party, accusing Edi Rama of not appreciating the figures who played a role in the founding, resurgence and modernization of the party.

Malaj recalls the period of political clashes in the early years of pluralism, when Fier turned into a bastion of socialists, and mentions events such as the beating of socialists in Libofshë and the arrest of Petro Koç and Lad Shehu, whose heads were shaved by the police in their cells.

According to him, despite the persecution, Koçi did not incite political hatred after 1997, contributing to social peace.

Malaj emphasizes that the history of the Socialist Party until 2005 cannot be rewritten by Rama and his "rebirthers", while he concludes his reaction with an irony towards socialist MP Zegjine Çaushi.

" Completely in solidarity with Petro and anyone else whom Rama and his Rilindas do not respect for their decisive contributions in the phase of founding, resurgence and modernization of the Socialist Party."

It is true that Fier became the capital of the socialists during a period of fierce, even criminal, clashes.

The criminal events of the beating of socialists in Libofshe became international news and began to show the true face of a criminal regime towards their country's opposition.

The most difficult moment for Petro, Lad Shehu, for the socialists of Fier, and for us, was when the Fier police arrested them both and shaved their heads in the dungeon.

"After 1997, the PD police chief who shaved his head became a PD MP in parliament, and Petro never incited party hatred because the country needed social peace," Malaj writes.

According to the former Minister of Finance, "Rama and his dummies cannot change the history of the founding and modernization of the SP, until 2005."

At the end of his reaction, Malaj writes with irony that "only Zeqineja has the intellectual and patriotic attributes to do any retouching of photos, including this one," referring to the new SP MP for the Fier district, Zegjine Çaushi.
