Serbia's President, Aleksandar Vučić , has hinted that his departure from office could occur within the next three to four months, raising questions about his political future.

In an interview with Radio Belgrade, Vučić stated that he is preparing for a possible transition, also mentioning personal details from the presidential office, such as the organization of the numerous books he has collected during his mandate.

He stated that the resignation will not come as a surprise and that he will inform the public at the appropriate time, while emphasizing that he has already begun preparations for leaving the Presidency.

"I plan to resign, I will inform you, it will not be a surprise to anyone. I have started packing the books in the Presidency. I have a lot of books and I am thinking about where to put them. I asked my friends, I will donate 1,200 books that I received during my mandate ," Vučić said.
