The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting in his office with personalities from the Italian right.

Through a reaction on social networks, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has shared details from the meeting with Fabrizio Tatarella, vice president of the Tatarella Foundation and nephew of Giuseppe 'Pinuccio' Tatarella, one of the central figures and great architects who, together with Silvio Berlusconi, created the modern and winning center-right in Italy.

Reaction of the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha:

I had the pleasure of receiving in the office my dear friend Fabrizio Tatarella, Vice President of the Tatarella Foundation, a prominent Italian public figure, the son of the late Salvatore Tatarella, former MEP and distinguished friend of Albania, as well as the grandson of Giuseppe 'Pinuccio' Tatarella, one of the central figures and great architects, together with Silvio Berlusconi, of the creation of the modern and winning center-right in Italy.

Tatarella was accompanied by the president of the Fratelli d'Italia branch for Albania, Massimiliano Adilardi, and coordinators Neritan Alku and Ardit Minarolli.
Fabrizio Tatarella is in Tirana for the presentation of Giuseppe Tatarella's work, 'The Right Towards the Future', a previously unpublished manuscript, with a foreword by the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni.

At the meeting, I expressed my deepest gratitude for the contribution of the Tatarella family to the traditional Albanian-Italian friendship and for their continued support for Albania and the Albanian democrats.

We discussed at length the extremely difficult situation in which Albania finds itself today, drug trafficking and the narco-economy, which pose a serious threat not only to the economy, security and democracy in Albania, but also to friendly countries of the European Union, in particular Italy.

I emphasized that Albania and Italy are two countries linked by history, culture, friendship and common strategic interests.
Cooperation between our two countries, especially in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and corruption, is vital for the security of Albanian, Italian and European citizens.

I expressed to my friend my belief that the Albanian and Italian right-wings share the same fundamental values: freedom, family, nation, the rule of law, a free economy, and a strong and prosperous Europe.

Special thanks for the visit and for the presentation in Tirana of Giuseppe Tatarella's political legacy, a legacy that remains relevant for every right-wing force that believes that politics should be vision, responsibility, and service to citizens.
