Crack after the DASH decision: Correction of injustice towards the opposition,

Researcher and writer Aurel Plasari has reacted after the US lifted the 'persona non grata' measure against DP leader Sali Berisha.

In a reaction, Plasari writes that the decision constitutes the correction of an injustice that affected not only Berisha, but also the opposition and its supporters.

He objects to the use of the term "non grata", arguing that the measure imposed on Berisha was related to a travel ban to the US and not to the diplomatic status of "persona non grata".

"The lifting of the restrictive measure "ineligible to travel to the USA" for Mr. Sali Berisha is a correction of an injustice not only for him personally, but also for the largest opposition party in Albania and its entire electorate.

The perverse mechanism of the government's propaganda clothed him with the diplomatic concept of "persona non grata", which to his ignorant military men seemed like "ranks without ranks" talk, thus distorting the measure that was actually "ineligible to travel to the US", that's all," Plasari writes.
