Fuel prices are reduced, here's how much diesel and gasoline will be sold

The Transparency Board published this Saturday the new fuel sales prices in the country.

According to the decision adopted at the meeting held today, the selling price of diesel has been set at no more than 183 lek per liter.

Meanwhile, for gasoline, the Board has decided that the maximum retail price will be 170 lek per liter.

According to the decision, the new prices will enter into force at 14:00 on June 13, 2026 and will remain in force until the next decision is made.

Announcement:

The Transparency Board, at its meeting on June 13, 2026, set new fuel sales prices in the country, which will come into effect at 2:00 PM on the same day and will remain in effect until the next decision-making.

According to the decision, the retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard has been set at no more than 183 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is no more than 171 lek per liter.

Likewise, the retail price of gasoline has been set at no more than 170 lek per liter, while the wholesale price is no more than 158 lek per liter.

The Board emphasizes that these prices will be mandatory for all fuel trading operators in the country, requiring full implementation of the decision by majority and minority entities.

The notice also warns that in case of violations found, administrative measures will be taken, including the suspension of the activity of operators who do not respect the set prices.

Responsible institutions, including the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to monitoring the market with the aim of protecting consumers and ensuring fair competition.

The decision comes within the framework of fuel market regulation mechanisms and price transparency in the country.
