New details have emerged from the investigation into the disappearance and suspected murder of Eglant Koçi, the 34-year-old who lost contact with his family on June 4 and whom authorities suspect was killed by his friend, Armando Shakaj.

The photo shows the Porsche vehicle in which investigators suspect the young man's body was transported after the crime.

According to preliminary investigations, the car was parked outside the palace on "Jean D'Arc" Boulevard, where Koçi went to meet Shakaj on the morning of June 4.

According to investigative sources, the 34-year-old was filmed by security cameras entering the building, but was never seen leaving it. Inside the premises where the crime is suspected to have occurred, police have found traces of blood and biological remains that are expected to serve as important evidence in solving the incident.

Investigations have raised suspicions that after the crime, Armando Shakaj took steps to cover up his tracks. He is suspected of disconnecting the security cameras in the corridors of the building and then ordering his bar's waiter, Enea Zyferi, to cut off the electricity, in order to prevent the moment of transporting the body to the vehicle from being recorded.

Meanwhile, the search for Eglant Koç's body continues intensively. Tirana Police, supported by a special team from Kosovo, are conducting searches in several areas of the capital, including Pëllumbas and Qafë Molla, as well as in several villages in Elbasan.

According to authorities, a special Serious Crimes unit is engaged in the search operation, which is mainly focused on the border areas between Tirana and Elbasan.
