Former Rama supporter, famous actress joins mass protest in Tirana

Among the thousands of citizens participating in the protest held in Tirana, the renowned Albanian actress Ema Ndoja, one of the most prominent figures of Albanian cinematography in the late 1980s, was also noticed.

For many years, based in Germany and away from public engagements in Albania, Ndoja has rarely appeared in the media, which made her presence at the civic rally even more special.

The actress's participation has also sparked interest due to the fact that in the past she has been identified as a supporter of Edi Rama, especially during the period when he sought to come to power in 2013. Therefore, her appearance at the anti-government protest has been interpreted by many participants as a signal of the disappointment that some citizens feel towards the political developments of recent years.
