Rama continues with attacks and insults against protesters, Lubonja: Desperate

Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented on the massive protests of citizens for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, as well as the latter's attacks on them.

In an interview with News24, Lubonja stated that Rama has never listened to the criticisms made against him, but has chosen to oppose them with verbal attacks, propaganda and, according to him, by relying on political power.

The analyst said that civic anger has accumulated due to great injustices. Lubonja mentioned the scandals of Arben Ahmetaj, Belinda Balluku, Erion Veliaj or AKSHI, adding that just one of these cases would have been enough for Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.

"He does it out of political culture. He has never heard of the first thing in the job. We have had plenty of criticism, there have been protests, and the only method he has used has been to delegitimize critics, insult, what he has not used, even the opposition with the belief that he has the police force."

In this system, he has also introduced crime to get votes and increase votes. And the force of corruption, that is, the force of a regime, and he has thought that this is the method.

I am right, you are wrong and the enemies are external like in the time of Enver Hoxha. And the anger gathered, even the corrupt ones, feel that this is a great injustice.

He should either step down, I think he should resign. Before this scandal, there is Ahmetaj, Balluku, Veliaj, AKSHI. Let's remove these altogether, as if only one of these 4 that I mentioned should have resigned. Now the famous Aruba has emerged that must be fully investigated.

They say that the names of politicians are missing, but they should be there. All this must be defended with violence, which it does not have the power to do. It can only defend with propaganda and is attacking like that and is in a situation that, let's say, is desperate.

But on the other hand, all dictatorships find it difficult to relinquish power, so this river, everyone who has felt injustice, pours out into the streets and continues to protest.
