Zhupa: Berisha will soon have meetings in the US

Democratic MP Ina Zhupa has called the lifting of Berisha's US travel ban a battle won for the Democratic leader and the voters who supported the Democratic Party.

"Today, with the removal of the non grata, it was a battle won by Mr. Berisha, the Democrats and the 500 thousand voters who supported the Democratic Party ," said Zhupa.

Invited to A2 CNN, Zhupa said that Berisha could soon travel to the US and hold meetings with senior American officials.

"Sali Berisha crosses the ocean. Sali Berisha can meet with the highest American officials, as he will meet them. Very soon there will be meetings in the United States of America," she declared.
