Renowned pediatrician passes away, touching message from colleagues: Today your desk was empty!

Renowned pediatrician Edi Tushe passes away.

The sad news was announced on social media by his clinic, where through an emotional message, Dr. Edi Tushe is remembered not only as a professional, but also as a rare person.

In addition to his valuable contribution as a pediatrician and neonatologist, he played an important role in the establishment and development of the neonatology service in Albania.

Tushe has also made a valuable contribution to the formation of new generations of doctors as a lecturer, passing on his experience and knowledge over the years.

Today I am writing with a broken heart.

There are departures that take your breath away. There are losses that cannot be accepted. And there are people who are so good, so loving, so irreplaceable, that it seems unfair that God would call them to Himself so soon.

Eddie was one of them.

I'm not just mourning a colleague. I'm not just mourning a brilliant doctor. I'm mourning a dear friend, a rare human being, a beautiful soul who made the world a better place just by his presence.

Every time I saw him at the clinic, it seemed like everything became easier. He had that calmness of good people, that gentle smile that gave you reassurance, that kindness that didn't need to be spoken out loud to be felt.

Today his desk remained empty.

The stethoscope fell silent.

The door will no longer open to welcome the children who loved it so much.

And our hearts were left with a wound that will never fully heal.

How many people have you helped?

How many children have you healed?

How many parents have you reassured?

How much love you left behind.

And while everyone talks about the great doctor you were, I want to remember the great man you were.

The man who never hurt anyone.

The man who treated everyone with respect.

The man who never spared time, dedication, or heart for those in need.

Today, tears are not enough to express the pain.

Because when a person like you leaves, it's not just family that is lost, it's not just friends that are lost.

A beautiful piece of this world is lost.

Farewell, my friend.

Farewell, my friend.

Farewell, my dear colleague.

But along with the pain, there will also live the gratitude that we were so lucky to have you in our lives.

Rest in peace, Eddie.

You are no longer among us, but you will live forever in our hearts.

Today heaven gained an angel, while we lost an irreplaceable person.
