Gert Gjinarari, also known as "Gert the General" and considered one of the most well-known names in the Albanian underworld, was recently arrested in Belgium by local authorities.

According to police, the 52-year-old was detained for possessing forged Italian documents. He was previously sentenced to life imprisonment for several serious criminal offenses, including "premeditated murder", "production and sale of narcotics", and "participation in a criminal organization".

Gjinarari has been mentioned over the years in sensational criminal events, including the 1997 murder in Italy of Naim Zyberi, known as one of the strong figures of Tirana at that time.

What has attracted attention after his arrest is his significantly changed appearance. In the photo published in the media, the 52-year-old appears transformed compared to his image of previous years, immediately becoming the object of attention on social networks and the media.
