12 days after Eglant Koç's disappearance, the perpetrator changes

It has been 12 days since the disappearance of 34-year-old Eglant Koçi, and there is still no trace of him. Investigations so far have led police to suspect that the young man may have been murdered, while his friend, 41-year-old Armand Shakaj, is identified as the suspected perpetrator.

The latter remains at large and is being sought by police structures across the country. Sources close to the investigation group indicate that special investigative methods are being used to locate him, while search operations have been extended to several areas of Albania.

According to investigators, Shakaj's capture could help not only in fully unraveling the incident, but also in finding the body of the 34-year-old, who is suspected of being hidden in a suburban area of Tirana.

Despite numerous searches conducted in villages, mountainous areas, and forested areas, authorities have not yet managed to locate Koç's body.

Meanwhile, information provided by the police indicates that the 41-year-old is suspected of hiding within Albanian territory. To avoid identification, he is said to have significantly changed his physical appearance, cutting his hair, removing his beard and using various forms of disguise during his movements.
