The crime that shocked Lezha, the person who hid the car of the perpetrators of

Police have arrested 40-year-old Besnik Kolndreu in Ulcinj, in connection with the incident of April 26, 2026, where the couple Kreshnik and Gentiana Mujeci were killed in the village of Balldren, Lezha.

Kolndreu hid the vehicle used by the perpetrators in the crime in his apartment.

The vehicle was found and seized by the Police services during checks carried out as part of the investigation.

 
The suspected perpetrators of the murder are Adriano Mhillaj, 22 years old, -Florin Mhillaj, 36 years old, (Genc Mhillaj's grandson), -Renato Mhillaj, 23 years old, (Genc Mhillaj's son). All three are residents of Lezha.

They have been declared internationally wanted and efforts are underway to capture them.

The murder is suspected to be a blood feud. In 2017, Kreshnik Mujeci was arrested for the murder of Genc Mhillaj. The latter was executed by a hail of bullets on Mount Jus on October 6, 2016.

One of the suspected perpetrators of the assassination attempt on the Mujeci couple is the son of Genc Mhillaj, who was killed in 2016.
