Marta Kos's statement, DP reacts: It is based on Rama's false

The Democratic Party has reacted after the statement of the Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, who declared that she has received guarantees from the Albanian government for the Zvërnec project.

The DP states in reaction that Kos's statements are based on false information received from "her friend Edi Rama" and ignore the serious crisis that has gripped the country.

The DP expresses support for the protesters' demands.

"Regarding the Declaration of the Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, Ms. Marta Kos, on the serious crisis that our country is going through, the Democratic Party expresses concern and emphasizes that it is based on false information presented by its friend Edi, and not on the existing reality in the country.

That statement ignores the serious crisis that has gripped Albania and serves Edi Rama rather than solving the crisis; on the contrary, it exacerbates and deepens it even more.

"The Democratic Party fully supports the 5 just demands of the protesters as conditions for a peaceful resolution of the crisis," the DP's response states.
