Protesters positioned themselves outside the Parliament, where Thursday's plenary session was taking place. Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present.
The prime minister's presence at the session appears to have changed the protesters' itinerary.
Outside the Parliament, protesters chanted in unison "Drug Parliament", "O Ed, you traitor, resign as soon as possible".
