She once called Rama 'Zeus', the deputy minister attacks the former

Yesterday's protest was not only attended by the recently retired SP MP, Marjana Koçeku, but also by other former officials within the pink camp.

The participation of former Socialist Party candidate for MP, Paulin Luli, in the protest held yesterday evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office has caused strong reactions among the majority, writes politiko.al.

One of the harshest reactions came from Edona Bilali, former Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, former MP and currently Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, who publicly attacked Luli through a post on social media.

"Oh Paulin, you are lying to Tirana with the fable of an honest worker in Germany, because our Puka and Shkodra know what you are!" Bilali wrote, in a reaction that was published shortly after the former socialist delivered his speech at the protest.

The socialist official's statement has sparked debate also because of her political past.

Bilal has often been remembered in public opinion for statements made years ago, when he compared Prime Minister Edi Rama to Zeus, the mythological figure who was considered the king of the gods in ancient Greece, writes politiko.al.

This statement went viral at the time and was widely used by political opponents as a symbol of the cult of the individual within the Socialist Party.
