Man stabs wife, 28-year-old woman rushed to Tirana

A serious incident was recorded in Pogradec, where a 30-year-old man stabbed his 29-year-old wife.

According to information, the incident occurred in neighborhood no. 4 of the city, where during a conflict between the couple, the man is suspected of hitting the woman several times, causing two wounds to her abdomen and arm.

After the incident, the perpetrator was escorted by the police, while the injured woman was initially transported to the Pogradec hospital and is then expected to be sent to Tirana for more specialized treatment due to her health condition.

The couple lived in Greece and had come to Albania for a vacation with their family. Police are continuing their investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
