Day 23/ Tomorrow, unions protest in front of the Ministry of Economy

The protest demanding the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama continued today, marking the 23rd day of civic mobilization in Tirana.

Before the march to the Prime Minister's Office began, one of the participants addressed the crowd with a call for solidarity with the protest announced by the unions, emphasizing that the dissatisfaction does not only affect the protesters, but also the workers and the strata most affected by economic difficulties.

He appealed to citizens to join the rally that will take place tomorrow in front of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, while also demanding the engagement of miners and oil workers through strikes.

"The unions will protest in support of citizens and workers who are barely making ends meet. We invite everyone to be part of this protest. Miners and oil workers must raise their voices, because they are among the groups most affected by the policies of this government," he declared.

In his speech, the protester emphasized that the civic movement will not be weakened by pressures and that the resistance will continue until the citizens' demands are answered.

"Regardless of obstacles or attempts to stop us, we will continue the protest," he said.
