Theft of SPAK files, Lubonja: Attack by state officials shows degradation

Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented on the SPAK cyberattack.

Invited to News 24, Lubonja said that the attack came from individuals who held state functions, a fact that, according to him, indicates a degradation of institutions and a threat to the independence of SPAK.

Lubonja has suggested that there could be different reasons for this attack and that SPAK should carefully investigate and uncover its cause.

"The arrested held state functions. An attack by state officials on an independent institution is a certain degradation. The reasons could be many and SPAK must find the reason. The fact that they were arrested shows that these people are not very structured."

"A director cannot enter there simply out of curiosity, it speaks to the extremely criminal mindset they may have. This job may have been requested by other people. Even those who may have requested it seem very truncated to me," said the analyst.
