At today's press conference at the DP headquarters, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha answered a question regarding President Donald Trump's decision to impose tariffs on all countries around the world, with Albanian products entering the US being taxed at 10%.

Berisha said that in the event of a DP victory, this decision will be negotiated with the Trump administration.

" We will have open negotiations with the US on the issue of tariffs, lower tariffs have been used for Albania than for other countries and for Kosovo. I have this comment about tariffs. I have been following this issue since it came out. In some serious articles I have found that the tariffs that countries had against the US were much higher than the US had against their products.

It was an impartial study. I would say a study from lines that are not very much in this orientation. If a car, not an American product, is taxed at 3% in the US, the American car was taxed at 10%. There is a real yes here. There was a country with 17% tariffs, at a time when the US had 3% tariffs. This issue is a global issue that cannot be one-sided. It cannot be approached unilaterally.
