Journalist raises doubts about SPAK's investigation into cyberattack, denounces importation of DPI device by government actors

Journalist raises doubts about SPAK's investigation into cyberattack,

Journalist Habjon Hasani has raised serious doubts about the way the investigation into the cyberattack of March 12 is being handled, for which SPAK arrested two people just one day later, on March 13.

In a Facebook post, Hasani says he possesses a confidential report drafted on March 13, which informed several people about the entry into Albania of an advanced DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) device, branded Service Gateway 9700.

" SPAK says that the cyber attack was carried out on March 12 and on March 13 the first two suspects were arrested.
Meanwhile, I possess a confidential report in Word format, drafted on March 13, which informed several people about the entry into Albania of a DPI device, of the "Service Gateway 9700" brand, imported by a government actor and exported by an Israeli cyber company with military security privileges.
The dates match.
It would not be surprising that those two arrested guys are horsetails; I fear that the matter goes much higher.
Neither of the two arrested turns out to have specialized knowledge in cyber and hacking ," writes Hasani.
