The police say they cracked the case after a 1-month investigation by Cyber ​​Crime and have prosecuted the 15-year-old minor from Vlora as part of the operation codenamed "The Accountant".

"As a result of the investigations, the illegal activity of a 15-year-old minor citizen, resident of Vlora, was documented, who is suspected of having, during March 2025, unauthorizedly interfered with the computer data of several state institutions (emails and official websites), causing their functioning to be interrupted for certain periods of time. The investigations so far have not resulted in the theft of confidential data or documents from these systems." - states the announcement of the blues of the coastal city.

Authorities report that they have seized several devices, which will undergo in-depth technical examinations, specifically: 5 laptop computers, 6 mobile phones and 1 drone.

Police say investigations are continuing to fully document this activity.
