Laert Vasili's shocking confession: I was sexually abused by my neighbor

Renowned actor Laert Vasili has recounted a shocking story from his life.

On "Big Brother Vip Albania", the actor revealed that he was abused by his neighbor at the age of 9. Vasili said that he has kept this story a secret for 42 years and that he has not yet completely overcome it.

"I was born on March 7, 1974. I was born to two parents who were military and lived in Delvina until I was 5 years old. I attended the "January 11" school in Tirana and I was alone most of the time. Often my parents could come home after 2-3 days. At the age of 9, something happened that I will never forget for the rest of my life. A nine-year-old child who was abused by his neighbor. And this has been inside me for 42 years. I didn't show that I was threatened that I would be raped very badly. He held the keys to the house, he was a trusted person. I didn't get over it, I just locked it in that dark drawer that I don't want to open. I kept this to myself. At the age of 10 when we moved to Saranda I was very happy, I was leaving Tirana ," he said.
