DP spokesperson Floriana Garo has responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama's attack on the leader of DP branch no. 9, Eda Grimci.

In a video message, Garo says that Rama's attack is clearly a reflection of a failed political model. The DP spokesperson adds that the end of Rama's regime is coming from strong women and ladies with integrity.

"Yesterday it was another woman's turn to be the subject of a verbal, aggressive and vile attack by a prime minister who, instead of leading with dignity, chooses to insult and humiliate."

Edi Rama's attack on the head of branch 9 of the Democratic Party, Ms. Eda Grimci, is not simply an ethical deviation. It is a clear reflection of a failed political model, which tries to survive through division, fear and belittling, especially towards women who dare to be active in public life.

Eda Grimci is a lady, a mother, an honest citizen, and a democrat who best represents the aspirations of Unit 9 for change. An attack on her is an attack on every woman who has decided to no longer remain silent in the face of injustice and the arrogance of power.

I call on citizens to reject this divisive policy of bullying. Enough with the patronage and ridicule.

Enough with a prime minister who is afraid of strong, honest women.

"Edi Rama, the end of this regime is not coming from the men you attack day after day, but from the women you will no longer be able to stop ," Garo declared.
