Murder of Albanian student, mother of ex-boyfriend: It distracted my son from

In the ongoing investigation into the murder of Albanian student Ilaria Sula, the words of the mother of Mark Antony Samson, who is currently in prison for the crime that shocked Rome, have come to light. Iliaria's body was found in a ditch after a horrific murder committed by her ex-boyfriend, Mark, in the Samson family's apartment.

During questioning, Mark's mother, a housewife with health problems, stated: "I was sleeping. I didn't understand anything. The next day I left the house." She and her husband, Rik Samson, have claimed that they knew that Ilaria had stayed at Mark's house on the night of March 25. However, many doubts have arisen about their roles during those 24 hours, when Mark killed the girl and hid the body in a suitcase to then throw it into a ravine 40 kilometers from Rome.

Despite the parents' claims, suspicions abound, as no witnesses heard screams or noises from Mark's room. Investigators are examining the possibility that Mark's parents played a role in hiding the body and may have been involved in collusion for premeditated murder.

Another aspect examined by investigators is the feeling of jealousy that Mark's mother had towards Iliaria, which may have influenced the events leading up to the crime. Suspicions are also growing about the careful cleaning of the crime scene, where Iliaria's blood was found, suggesting that she may have been hit from behind, perhaps in her sleep.

Investigators continue to follow various leads and analyze the role of Mark's mother and father in this tragic event.
