Election materials arrive in Kukës, Has and Tropoja

The election materials have arrived today at the Zonal Electoral Administration Commission (KZAZ) No. 11 of the Municipality of Kukes. The chairman of this commission, Uran Cengu, announced that everything is ready for Saturday, when the distribution of materials to the 73 polling centers will begin.

The Counting Center will be located in the gymnasium of the city's high school, which is guarded by the Police. In total, 44,535 citizens of the Municipality of Kukës have the right to vote in these elections, a decrease compared to 2023, when there were 45,855 voters.

On May 11, 73 polling centers will open, one less than the 2023 where 74 will open. This decrease is a consequence of the decrease in the number of residents in the village of Kalis, where about 300 people have left. Election materials have also arrived in the Has and Tropoja CEAZs, including ballot boxes, ballot papers, auxiliary equipment and a monitoring system with cameras and screens for all voting and counting centers.
