IdentiTek offices open on Saturdays

The Ministry of Interior has announced that identity card distribution offices will be open on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

This decision was taken by the company "IdentiTek", in order to help citizens who were unable to collect their documents on time. "IdentiTek" application offices will be open from 09:00 to 14:00 for card collection.

"These days, an increased flow of applications has been noted from citizens whose identity documents have expired, driven by the general election process. The Government also approved Normative Acts so that every citizen can vote, even if the biometric document they possess has expired. These measures are taken in order to guarantee the smooth running of the electoral process and that every citizen can exercise their right to vote without any obstacles," the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
