Analyst Andi Bushati has ironized Mayor Erion Veliaj, after American journalist Mark Caputo, referring to the US State Department, announced last night on X that the head of the opposition in Albania, Sali Berisha, has practically been removed from non grata status, and he can travel to the United States.

On social media, Bushati writes that the one who first brought the news about Non Grata is now in prison, forgotten even by his own people.

"They don't say politics is a joke for nothing.
The one who first brought the news of Non Grata to Tirana is today in a cell in Durrës, forgotten even by his own party.
