Another shocking detail has come to light after the murder that occurred this afternoon in the village of Pla të Hasit, where 41-year-old Ylber Jaku executed 34-year-old Rushit Sallahu with a firearm. The perpetrator of the crime had warned of the extreme act through a status on the social network Facebook, where he stated that he had strong reasons to undertake what he called a "lesson" for others.

Jaku, who had returned from the UK just the day before, wrote that his family was under constant attack and that he felt compelled to react. “ I had to get rid of one of them… the reason is clear, to teach a lesson to others who were waiting in line to be strong with me and my family,” he wrote on Facebook a few hours before shooting the victim with a rifle.

The serious incident comes just a day after 21-year-old Artjola Sallahu, the victim's sister, was arrested for violence against Ylber Jaku's parents, Agim and Vera Jaku. They ended up in hospital with injuries sustained from hard objects, while the perpetrator was detained by police for "Intentional Serious Injury".

Meanwhile, it is learned that there have been ongoing conflicts between the two families over property issues, which have dragged on for more than 10 years, with dozens of reports filed by the Jaku family.

After the crime, Ylber Jaku was arrested by the police and the weapon used was seized as material evidence. The investigation team is working to fully clarify the motives and circumstances of the serious murder.
