Police announcement:

As part of the measures taken by the State Police to guarantee the smooth running of the international activity "Giro d'Italia", as well as to guarantee public safety during the stage that will take place in Tirana, the Tirana Traffic Police services have begun the process of moving vehicles parked incorrectly, for a long time, on roads officially announced as blocked.

The vehicles will be removed by a lifting vehicle (cart) and taken to a dedicated space, on the old Farka road, where the owners can tow them after the race ends.

The control and relocation process will continue until the entire race route space is cleared.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate calls on citizens/drivers to show understanding and cooperation in implementing these restrictions that will enable the race to take place in optimal safety conditions. It also appeals to avoid incorrect parking on the roads included in the race route.

The success of the competition positively and directly affects the image of the country.
