From violence to blood feud: Artjola Sallahu is released from prison, after

The Kukes Court has today changed the security measure for 21-year-old Artjola Sallahu, reducing it from "prison arrest" to "house arrest." The decision comes just two days after her detention for the violence inflicted on the couple Agim and Vera Jaku in the village of Pla të Hasit.

The incident occurred after a conflict over property issues, related to the opening of a road between the properties of two families. According to the police, Sallahu hit the two spouses with hard objects, leaving them injured. 65-year-old Agim Jaku is out of danger after receiving medical assistance, while his wife, 60-year-old Vera Jaku, remains under the care of doctors.

The prosecution accuses the young woman of two criminal offenses: "Intentional serious injury" and "Intentional minor injury."

The incident took on tragic proportions the following day, when the son of the raped couple, Ylber Jaku, 41, who had returned from the UK, shot and killed Artjola's brother, 34-year-old Ryshyt Sallahu, with a rifle. He was arrested immediately after the crime and faces charges of intentional murder.

According to police sources and residents of the area, the property conflict between the two families is old and has lasted for over 10 years, with over 20 reports filed by the Jaku family with the relevant institutions, without finding a solution.
