Journalist Genc Burimi, during a discussion on SYRI TV, stated that today the European Parliament has put the knife to the electoral farce of May 11.

During the conversation, Burimi also emphasized the key role of the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, in the DP's lobbying in Brussels and his work to denounce the scandals of the Rama government.

'In so few months, look at the impact that lobbying brought to Sali Berisha himself, personally.

I had been saying for a while why the DP doesn't go lobbying, go to Brussels, I was even saying they should go on a hunger strike at the European Parliament.

Look at what is happening, these are extraordinary groups, things seem normal, but they are extraordinary. There are these reports today, I will analyze them one by one, we must see that this is the lobby. Of course, on the side of the majority, they will say it is a shame, it betrays the cause of integration.

According to these people, the opposition in Turkey should shut up, because it is harming the cause of Turkey's integration.

It is a shame to admit such a controversy.

They are not lobbying, but they are bringing out the black water of every wrong phenomenon. They are bringing out the black water of Poland, Hungary, and no longer Albania.

Those who say shut up are once again using an envious, dictatorial logic. We did not make a revolution to be in this quagmire today, where the right to speech and denunciation is denied, with the alibi; Albania is being disfigured.

Before we are Albanians, we are citizens, we are democrats. Only dictatorships link the regime with nationality. Democracy distinguishes Europe. We are a small island.

What I note from this report today, more than the elections, even though it is related to the elections, they emphasize the independence of the judiciary. How is it possible that they have mentioned it several times, when Albania claims to have undergone the best reform in the world, a reform that made the judiciary very independent. But if today, the European Parliament implies that the judiciary is not independent, nothing else can be considered in Albania above normal and democratic actions.

The European Parliament said a sentence today that puts a knife in these elections: 'In Albania there is a deficit problem, the independence of the judiciary and it puts this in first place,' said Genc Burimi on SYRI TV.
