Journalist Genc Burimi, during a discussion on SYRI TV, stated that today the European Parliament has put the knife to the electoral farce of May 11.

They are not lobbying, but they are bringing out the black water of every wrong phenomenon. They are bringing out the black water of Poland, Hungary, and no longer Albania.

Those who say shut up are once again using an envious, dictatorial logic. We did not make a revolution to be in this quagmire today, where the right to speech and denunciation is denied, with the alibi; Albania is being disfigured.

Before we are Albanians, we are citizens, we are democrats. Only dictatorships link the regime with nationality. Democracy distinguishes Europe. We are a small island.

What I note from this report today, more than the elections, even though it is related to the elections, they emphasize the independence of the judiciary. How is it possible that they have mentioned it several times, when Albania claims to have undergone the best reform in the world, a reform that made the judiciary very independent. But if today, the European Parliament implies that the judiciary is not independent, nothing else can be considered in Albania above normal and democratic actions.
